We design food for adventures

Lightweight meals from real ingredients, built for travel, hiking, and everyday life on the go.

Who is behind Kiki Lab?

Hi, I'm Justina

I have a theory that people are happiest when they create stories for themselves.

10 years ago, I left for a 6-month backpacking trip across Southeast Asia.
Since then, I’ve hiked in Iceland, Patagonia, Peru, New Zealand, the Camino, and many smaller adventures in between.

And the thing I keep coming back to is this: some of the best moments in life happen while moving. Somewhere outside my comfort zone.

That idea became The Kiki Lab.

Now I’m creating food concept for people in motion.
Lightweight. Portable. Reliable in all conditions.

Technology

What is free-drying?

Our meals are made using freeze-drying technology. It removes water while preserving taste, texture, and up to 97% of all the nutrients.

Unlike traditional dried food, freeze-drying helps keep ingredients close to their original form. That means real flavors, real ingredients, and a lighter pack in your backpack.

Just add hot water, wait a few minutes, and the meal comes back to life.

Why we do what we do?

Because the way you move shouldn’t limit how you eat.

We believe in simplicity and convenience.

And we believe that what you eat should make you feel good.

We built Kiki Lab because tactical food was either too heavy or asked too many compromises.

Our meals are light to carry, designed for long shelf life, and made to preserve the goodness of real ingredients.

Kiki Lab is still small. Still learning. Still being built step by step.

But this is why we do it.
